Comfort Cattery is a small family-run luxury indoor cat hotel, situated at the rear of our home in a quiet residential area, and is licensed with Harrow Council. It is a modern design with 4 spacious but cosy rooms, for either 1, 2, or 3 cats from the same household. Each room has a vented window with access to a secure balcony for natural light and viewing, a scratchpost, toys, and plenty of shelves and platforms on which your cat can jump, climb, or just doze, and, as some cats are very shy, we have made sure they can find a cosy hidey hole as well. Each room has a thermostatically controlled heater, and extractor fan for ventilation.
We provide cosy beds and bedding for our cats, but if you prefer to bring your own to help your cat settle in, then you are welcome to do so.
We feed the cats twice daily, and stock all the popular brands of food, but if your cat is on a special diet, or prescription diet, then we ask that you please bring their food with you.
Sometime during the evening, all the cats get playtime, cuddles and treats (if allowed treats), so they can enjoy some extra attention. We also play relaxing music in the cattery which helps new cats to settle in.
Just outside the cattery, a wide variety of birds, and also squirrels, come for their daily breakfast, giving your cat plenty to watch.
With just a few ‘guests’ at any one time, we can offer a very caring and individual service to every ‘cat’ customer, and our aim is to keep our boarding cats safe, happy, warm and loved, until the time they are collected.
You are very welcome to come and view our cattery, please ring to let us know when you would like to come. As we are a small cattery, we do not have any set opening hours, but are happy to arrange for you to visit, or drop-off and collect your cat at mutually agreeable times, between the hours of 9am and 8pm. However, please note we are always closed on Thursdays from 5pm, and for 2020, on Sundays, we are closed between 11am and 3.30pm.
Sorry, we cannot board unneutered cats over 6 months, or cats needing injections. If your cat needs tablets, or you have an older cat, please give us a call.
